As Ukraine prepares for its offensive in opposition to Russia, Russia is unexpectedly dusting off and deploying tank fleets from Chilly Warfare-era to the frontlines. These fleets include T-55 and T-62 tanks, which initially emerged within the Forties and are predominantly present in museums in the present day. It’s stunning that Russia is resorting to such outdated gear, because it seems they’re scraping the underside of the barrel. This, subsequently, raises the query of why Russia is counting on antiquated assets.
