Second World Conflict pilots and aircrew have been reunited with a Spitfire that flew on D-Day. The veterans joined the Spitfire within the skies in a civilian plane to see and listen to the well-known fighter roar above the countryside surrounding Biggin Hill. One veteran was fortunate sufficient to even fly within the plane.
