Starting in April, Fight Aircrews and help personnel assigned to VP-46 arrived in strategic places in each fifth and sixth Fleet AORs in help of Maritime Safety Operations. Throughout their tenure in theatre, the Gray Knights will help Commander, Process Pressure (CTF) 57 and 67 and make the most of the P-8A Poseidon plane to conduct varied anti-submarine warfare (ASW) and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Acknowledge (ISR) missions, in addition to different strategic tasking supporting our nationwide pursuits.
“After months of preparation and planning it is lastly our time to alleviate our brothers and sisters and present the CTF how the Gray Knights can take any process thrown at them,” stated Lt. Cmdr.
