A U.S. Army veteran lied about having a dysfunction and exaggerated his signs to rip-off the Division of Veterans Affairs out of incapacity advantages, based on federal authorities.
Now Bruce Hay, of Greeley, Kansas, has been sentenced to 37 months in federal jail, based on a Dec. 13 information launch from the U.S. Legal professional’s Workplace for the District of Kansas. The 54-year-old man can also be ordered to pay over $537,000 in restitution.
Hay was convicted by a federal grand jury in August of six counts of wire fraud and 10 counts of theft of presidency funds, authorities stated.
