Troops from 1st Battalion the Scots Guards have been introduced with medals for his or her contribution to the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Cyprus. The Scots Guards have been on UN peacekeeping duties in Cyprus for the previous six months, patrolling the demilitarised hall that divides the island. Personnel have been introduced with their medals alongside troopers from different nations contributing to the UN peacekeeping mission.
