950 years in the past, England had a violent rebirth because it was savagely thrust into a brand new period by Normandy’s William the Conqueror. October 14th, 1066 marked the start of Norman England, with half the Anglo-Saxon the Aristocracy, together with King Harold, perishing in battle that day. The opposite half had been quickly displaced by a brand new French-speaking aristocracy. English language and tradition had been indelibly altered.
