A soldier died in a bear assault throughout a coaching train at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, the Army introduced Monday.
It’s unclear whether or not the soldier was geared up with bear spray, or if their unit provides the spray to all of its troops. In 2014, two troopers have been attacked by bears on the base.
