Waving flags, banners and placards, the protesters sang the Ukrainian anthem and chanted “Putin cease conflict”, Putin go house” and “free Ukraine”.
Helena Kovalenko, 33, initially from northern Ukraine, instructed the PA information company: “I’m so offended with Putin for invading my Ukraine.
“I’ve household there, my mum and pop, and I’m so scared for them.”
Ms Kovalenko, who has lived within the UK for 9 years, added: “I’m right here as we speak to name for this nation to assist – Putin has to go.”
The group, which blocked a path outdoors the embassy, shouted “down with Putin” and held posters evaluating the Russian chief to Hitler.
