Friday’s journey marks the beginning of the minister’s annual visits to the Lithuanian Armed Forces’ navy models, the Protection Ministry has instructed BNS.
“This 12 months, Anusauskas is beginning his visits with the Lithuanian Grand Duke Kestutis Motorized Infantry Battalion within the district of Taurage and the Brigadier Normal Motiejus Peciulionis Artillery Battalion within the district of Silale,” it stated.
The minister will meet with the battalions’ commanders to debate plans and key issues, and will likely be proven the infrastructure of the brand new navy base.
