A paratrooper who risked demise on three separate events throughout a battle with the Taliban has been awarded the Victoria Cross by Her Majesty the Queen. When an assault on a Taliban stronghold by British and American forces grew to become pinned down, LCpl Leakey took command and risked enemy fireplace to survey the world.
