New Tug Prepares To Work With Large Carriers | Forces TV



SD Tempest is a brand new tug working in Portsmouth Harbour to assist the Royal Navy’s new Queen Elizabeth-class plane carriers navigate the waters. The brand new tug is larger and has double the pulling energy of earlier vessels, because of it is three highly effective engines. HMS Queen Elizabeth would be the largest Royal Navy warship when she arrives in Portsmouth later this 12 months, and it is necessary to have a tug that may deal with it.
