TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. —
Tinker Air Pressure Base is starting the brand new 12 months with a brand new group of Honorary Commanders.
Twelve new members, ranging in backgrounds from entrepreneurs, politicians, and educators, joined the Honorary Commander Program throughout a ceremony held on the Tinker Occasion Middle January 18, 2024.
The Honorary Commander Program is exclusive to the USA Air Pressure with a aim to teach key group leaders a few unit’s mission and to foster a supportive relationship with the group. The 2-year lengthy program hopes to extend navy involvement in civic endeavors and organizations and make members of the area people really feel a part of the unit.

As of 2024, the Honorary Commander Program at Tinker Air Pressure Base has grow to be a two-year program. This replaces the earlier one-year program and is designed to raised educate and immerse honorary commanders in Workforce Tinker’s numerous missions.
