A sailor assigned to an East Coast-based Naval Particular Warfare unit has died following a helicopter touchdown, the Navy introduced in a press release Tuesday.
The sailor died Monday at 12:35 p.m. at an area hospital “after sustaining accidents after a helicopter touchdown incident throughout joint coaching at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story on Could 5,” the Navy stated.
