KUWAIT, Aug 29 (KUNA) — The Kuwaiti Navy has carried out a joint drill with the Iraqi naval pressure together with items of the US Fifth Fleet within the north of the Arabian Gulf, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Protection declared on Monday.
The train was held for sake of bolstering regional naval safety cooperation amongst these forces, the ministry mentioned in assertion.
The mock battle was designed to beef up these forces’ management capacities, naval safety operation, in addition to boosting the regional cooperation and unifying related army ideas, it mentioned, indicating that the troops used dwell ammunition.
The train has been organized as a part of the joint cooperation accord that affirms the regional states’ dedication to safeguard the regional sea safety. (finish)
