SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – There’s a brand new garrison commander in cost at Hunter Army Airfield.
Lieutenant Colonel Bob Cuthbertson assumed the position at present.
Cuthbertson is a US Army Special Forces Officer and takes over for Lieutenant Colonel Steve Bolton.
He says he has many household ties to the world and hopes to construct on the work of his predecessor.
“I’m actually enthusiastic about this chance. Garrison command, or truly command of any sort, is what you at all times search for within the navy, and Savannah is at all times a spot that we like to return go to, so it’s nice to lastly have that chance to dwell right here.”
Lieutenant Colonel Cuthbertson attended the Virginia Army Institute and is a 3rd era soldier.
He served in Iraq and Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division.
