Bitcoin use in navy operations has been rising since Ukrainian Army acquired bitcoin donations after Moscow began a large-scale operation towards Ukraine in February 2022. In response to new statistics from blockchain analytics startup Elliptic, inside a 12-hour interval there was roughly $400,000 in bitcoin contributed to Come Again Alive, a Ukrainian nonprofit group that helps the armed forces. Elliptic reported that the crypto donations reached tons of of 1000’s of {dollars} and has been poured into Ukrainian NGOs and volunteer organizations making an attempt to counter Russian invasion. So, how does bitcoin profit the navy operations?
It has been realized that volunteer teams have traditionally supplemented the work of Ukraine’s navy by offering extra assets and manpower. For example, when pro-Russian Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych was deposed in 2014, volunteers stepped as much as help protesters.
