The fortified japanese Ukrainian metropolis of Avdiivka has witnessed intense preventing, with the Ukrainian army reporting the destruction of lots of of items of Russian army gear and the deaths of 1000’s of Russian troops. Colonel Oleksandr Shtupun, within the midst of this intense fight, described it as a meat grinder assault.
The world was shocked by the sudden offensive on Avdiivka. Whereas it was broadly believed that Russia was on the defensive alongside the 745-mile entrance line, they launched a big counter-attack on this industrial city, located simply 9 miles north of Donetsk in japanese Ukraine. In a televised interview, Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged the continuing army operation, though the advance of Russian troops appeared laborious.
