The Royal Navy’s new plane provider has safely made it beneath the Firth of Forth bridges after leaving dock at Rosyth yesterday. HMS Queen Elizabeth needed to look ahead to the low tide at midnight as a way to achieve sufficient clearance. The biggest and strongest ship ever constructed for the Royal Navy will carry out sea trials within the North Sea over the summer season.
