Seventy years after King George VI named the Royal Artillery’s Driving Troop as “The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery”, Her Majesty The Queen inspected The Troop on their anniversary parade in Hyde Park. The King’s Troop is the Queen’s ceremonial Saluting Battery, tasked with firing Gun Salutes for particular events reminiscent of Royal birthdays.
