F-35 fighter jets have flown their first operational sorties from plane service HMS Queen Elizabeth.
The Lightning plane are finishing up fight missions from the Service Strike Group 21 within the combat towards the remnants of so-called Islamic State.
There are presently 18 UK and US F-35B jets on board HMS Queen Elizabeth, the biggest complete to sail at sea.
