A U.S. Air Power pilot safely landed their F-16C Preventing Falcon jet in Italy after struggling an in-flight emergency on Wednesday afternoon, prompting buildings close to the runway to lock down.
“Aviano Air Base’s emergency response groups responded and secured the realm. All different base operations have returned to regular,” spokesperson Natalie Stanley stated in an e-mail Friday.
