Daniel “Fitz” Fitzgerald is a Weapons and Techniques Teacher (WTI) certified Marine H-1 crew chief with deployments to Afghanistan and a number of Marine Expeditionary Units (MEUs). Throughout his 2012 deployment, Fitz’s squadron was one of many items aboard Camp Bastion through the shock Taliban assault that claimed two lives and a number of plane.
