The commander for one of many Army’s premier coaching components within the Pacific has been suspended, pending an investigation, Army.com has discovered.
Col. Jonathan Chung was eliminated this week from his place commanding the fifth Safety Drive Help Brigade after sitting on the helm since July 2021. The circumstances round his suspension are unclear. Chung didn’t instantly return a request for remark from Army.com.
Chung has been assigned to an administrative position at U.S. Army Pacific, a component of the drive that oversees operations within the Indo-Pacific, in keeping with a service spokesperson. Col. Tony Braxton will quickly assume command.
