From left, Chris Cahall, Betsy Reed Schultz and Jody Pinkelman had been amongst about 200 in attendance Sunday for the dedication of the Captain Joseph Home.
A big tent lined the ceremony on south Oak Road, and Cahall and Pinkelman, each retired from the U.S. Special Forces, shared their experiences as they served with Captain Joseph Schultz, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2011.
The home will function a spot of relaxation for Gold Star households.
