A Canadian defence firm has gone bankrupt as a result of an arms embargo Ottawa imposed on Turkey in response to Ankara’s navy operations in Syria and Azerbaijan.
Telemus Techniques Inc filed for chapter final August as a result of it misplaced its main buyer, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), following an arms embargo imposed by the Canadian authorities in 2020, in keeping with a report ready by the trustee KPMG Inc.
The corporate was promoting a big selection of digital intelligence and digital assist techniques to the Turkish buyer for a navy drone referred to as TAI Anka.
