Evans, an Iraq warfare veteran, was the highest enlisted chief for Headquarters & Headquarters Battalion, U.S. Army Central. He’s from Petersburg, Virginia, and joined the Army in July 2002.
“Command Sgt. Maj. Carlos Evans was an excellent chief and caring good friend who impressed and lifted up all these round him,” Lt. Gen. Patrick D. Frank, commander of U.S. Army Central, mentioned in an announcement. “CSM Evans was well-known and revered by all, and the affect and influence he made inside the unit won’t ever fade. We collectively mourn the immense lack of his presence in our lives, and our ideas and prayers are prolonged to CSM Evans’s household.”
Evans’ awards embody a Bronze Star, a Meritorious Service Medal, an Army Commendation Medal with valor, and the Fight Motion Badge.
Police say Slacks, who co-owned the house with Holliday, entered with a key. He had been handed divorce papers Feb. 21, and the method was finalized March 2, in line with native reporting from WIS 10.
