Armistice Day commemorations have been held across the UK to honour those that have misplaced their lives in battle.
A two-minute silence passed off throughout the nation at 11am, marking 102 years for the reason that first silence was noticed on 11 November 1919.
The Duchess of Cornwall was on the 93rd Discipline of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey, which has been held on the web site since November 1928.
