The Air Power launched the identification of an airman who was arrested in June and accused of staging an insider assault on a U.S. navy base in Syria that left 4 service members injured.
Tech. Sgt. David W. Dezwaan Jr., of the seventy fifth Air Base Wing out of Utah, was charged Thursday with dereliction of responsibility; destroying navy property; reckless endangerment; entry of a authorities pc with an unauthorized objective; acquiring labeled info; and aggravated assault, in accordance with the Air Power.
“The fees stem from an investigation into an incident that happened in Inexperienced Village, Syria, in April 2022,” Air Power spokeswoman Ann Stefanek stated in a press release.

Navy investigators have been trying into what occurred at Inexperienced Village, a small U.S. base in Syria simply north of the Euphrates River, after explosions hit two buildings inside the bottom partitions on April 7.
Because of the blast, 4 service members have been handled for “minor accidents and attainable traumatic mind accidents,” officers stated in a press release on the time. The 4 obtained medical care however have been returned to service shortly after the incident.
