The F-35C is the service variant of the F-35 Lightning II, a fifth-generation stealth fighter developed by Lockheed Martin for the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps. The F-35C is designed to function from plane carriers, which require particular options and capabilities for launching and touchdown plane at sea. Certainly one of these options is the bigger wings of the F-35C in comparison with the opposite variants, the F-35A (standard takeoff and touchdown) and the F-35B (quick takeoff and vertical touchdown).
