Naval Station Everett participated in a regional plane emergency response coaching train June 6, 2023, that included plane and first responders from state, county and native companion businesses within the Northwest Regional Aviation consortium. On-base train contributors included personnel from Navy Search and Rescue primarily based at NAS Whidbey Island, LifeFlight, and King County Search and Rescue. This coaching state of affairs centered on getting ready for a possible real-world earthquake and tsunami catastrophe response.
