In July 2010, former Lance Bombardier Robert Lengthy misplaced his sight following an explosion from an improvised explosive system (IED). In what he describes as “pitch black” darkness, Lengthy discovered inspiration by means of a brand new type of fight. For overcoming the change in his life, the veteran has received the #Millies 2018 ‘Overcoming Adversity’ award.
