A navy helicopter crashed alongside an Alabama freeway, leaving no survivors, officers mentioned.
The crash occurred at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, on Alabama 53 in Madison County, based on the Alabama Regulation Enforcement Company. The company confirmed it was a Black Hawk helicopter.
Everybody on board was killed, and the plane burned, Don Webster with Huntsville Emergency Medical Providers, Inc. advised AL.com and WHNT.
Meteorologist James Spann shared a video of the crashed helicopter billowing smoke in the midst of the freeway.
