Each few weeks, gasoline tankers chartered by the Ministry of Defence sail to the Akrotiri shoreline from the UK. Every ship carries massive quantities of aviation gasoline – important to retaining all jets, transport plane and helicopters flying. We have been granted particular entry into how plane at RAF Akrotiri are stored fuelled and prepared for operations.
