Syria.

(CENTCOM) praised them and prolonged messages of condolences to
their households, a transfer harshly criticized by Turkiye.
“Salwa Yusuk (aka Ciyan Afrin), a deputy commander of the Syrian

killed in an assault close to Qamishli, Syria, on July 22, 2022,” CENTCOM stated on Twitter on July 24, 2022.
