U.S. State Dept approves potential sale of Javelin launch items to UK


WASHINGTON, Aug 1 (Reuters) – The U.S. State Division authorized the potential international navy sale to the UK of Javelin Light-weight Command Launch items for an estimated price of $300 million, the Pentagon mentioned on Monday.

The UK authorities had requested to purchase 513 Javelin Light-weight Command Launch Units.

The principal contractor can be the Javelin Joint Enterprise, a three way partnership of Lockheed Martin Corp (LMT.N) and Raytheon Applied sciences Corp (RTX.N), the Pentagon mentioned in an announcement.
