The inaugural Grass Valley Armed Forces Day Celebration passed off on Saturday in downtown Grass Valley. Organized by the Larger Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Metropolis of Grass Valley and the County of Nevada, the celebration honored lively navy service members.

Representatives from navy items in Sacramento, Alameda, and San Francisco, USCG station Lake Tahoe had been current with Opening and Closing Colours offered by the ninth Drive Assist Squadron Honor Guard from Beale AFB.
There have been cubicles from all of the service branches, with recruiters handing out supplies about their service department, and naturally giveaways. Many had been doing enjoyable issues like chin up challenges, t-shirt cannons, and steering of huge navy autos. The Coast Guard had a ball/rope throw problem to get the ball right into a flotation gadget. The Marine Mountain Warfare Coaching Heart of Bridgeport had samples of the gear they use together with climbing, ski mountaineering gear, pulk sleds and litters with a apply dummy. Flyovers, music and meals complemented the motion in downtown Grass Valley.
