The Marine Corps has introduced its latest recruit with extra fanfare than employed for the common grunt, most likely as a result of the recruit is a canine.
The Corps introduced Thursday that it’s getting a brand new bulldog pup to tackle the mantle of “Chesty” after the present one steps down this summer time.
“Recruit Chesty XVI lately started coaching to switch the retiring Lance Cpl. Chesty XV,” the Marines wrote in a press launch.
