Crew members from two Lancaster bombers that did not return dwelling in the course of the Second World Warfare have been buried in Germany with full army honours.
Two separate funerals occurred on the Durnbach Army Cemetery, south of Munich, greater than 70 years after the plane crashed.
Memorial providers had been held for the crews of Lancaster bomber ED427 of 49 Squadron, and Lancaster bomber JB221 of 97 Squadron.
However it’s amid some controversy after a German archaeological crew that found one of many crash websites and the stays of its crew mentioned its efforts haven’t been recognised by the MoD.
