Danny Coulson was the primary chief of the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Group (HRT) and stood the unit up. On this episode we talk about his early profession underneath J. Edgar Hoover when he was focusing on communists after which the black panthers. We then get into his work with Delta Pressure, SEAL Group Six, the SAS, and different SOF items to assist create HRT. Lastly, Danny tells us about HRT’s first massive deployment.
